Two young developers fought the city and won to convert an old studio into two condo units on Croft st. This is a family affair, being their fourth project similar to this. This is where I want to live, I fell in love with Croft st.

election night

Diane Alexopolous stands amongst her many supports on election night, including NDP leader Jack Layton to her left, waiting for the final polls to be counted. Alexopolus caused a surprise upset in ward 29, losing to incumbent Case Ootes by only 20 votes during the Toronto municipal election November 13. Both candidates waited hours for the final two polls to be counted while Alexopolus sat in the lead by over 140 votes, which is now being blamed on car troubles. Candidates are exploring the option of a recount.

Very cool story, what barbers across the city are saying about the election... I dunno if you've ever seen a female my age hanging out in a barber shop, but I now know there's a reason why they don't. Interesting characters in these shops.

The street was a riot with tons of people in elaborate cosutmes parading for the cameras down blocked-off Church st from Wellesley down to Alexander.
